In today’s world, you are being tracked everywhere and the activities that you perform in the internet. If the agencies need to bring a history of the person what location he had been visiting, then they have the information handy about any particular person. But you can control in transmitting your location services to your service provider with the simple settings shown below. Smart phone users are the prey, because they are connected to internet all time and the device is smart enough to record all your locations/time and keep track of your history of your locations for the past one month, yahoo news reports this as well, check here

Below are the steps that you could use to see how you are being tracked in the location history for the iPhone.

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations

"Clear History" option will be given in the last screen shown below when you go in your iPhone where you can clear all your history of your locations that are being recorded and then set the "Frequent Locations" to Off. Now your history of the locations that you visit will not be tracked.

Most importantly these location services are tied up with all your social networking activities, photos that you take using your smart phones, messages, emails that you send, what kind of advertisements that is shown to you, etc...
So be watchful and aware what you are doing in the internet.
